Tree Glider Lift System loaded and riding in the TG Lifter
Co-inventors Ed and Wake Fickey with the Tree Glider Lift System outside
the factory. Wake, in the Clemson Orange shirt, is holding the TG Cable Lifter
used to slide the TG Cable Cinch up the tree. Note the tie-down strap used to
make the unit solid on the tree when locked on, the steel shooting rail, cup
holder, and under Ed's feet, the gambrel hooks used for lifting you game when
you are successful!
It says Tree Glider by Wake Up Outdoors, LLC. Since 2004,
Wake Up Outdoors, LLC has been a great source of
outdoor products and information.
The Tree Glider Lift System is
under constant improvement
and review. The TG Loader
allows the motor on the TGLS
to do all the hard work of lifting
the unit up off the ground for
transporting down the road.
Wake started his college
football career at Western
Carolina University - and an
injury there led these two
to the invention of the Tree
Glider Lift System. Now
Wake is a Senior at
Clemson University - where
last year he broke his nose,
broke his ankle resulting in
surgery and convinced his
dad to tell him to spend
this fall hunting! Here's to a
safe fall season!
The restoration of elk to the
Great Smokey Mountains is
working. I was coming into
Cherokee, NC a couple
weeks ago and almost
wrecked my truck when I
saw this bull and two cows
grazing next to the highway.
